You hear a line and answer out loud. The AI keeps the conversation going and reads you a model reply in a clear coach voice.

Every conversation has a topic and a goal, so you practise the things you would actually say.

The LingoDrive Podcast plays a two-voice conversation at your level. After each question there is a pause to think and answer in your own words, then you hear a model answer and get a moment to repeat it.

On Android Auto it is a normal podcast on your dashboard: play, pause, skip by exchange, Repeat and Translate. Nothing to read while you drive.

• Eight languages. Danish, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Swedish and Portuguese, picked from your own native language.
• Four levels. From complete beginner to advanced. The conversations change with you, not just the word list.
• Hands-free speaking. Turn on "mic opens automatically" and practise without touching the screen.
• Transcript and translation. The full transcript on your phone, with a translation for every line, and the same episode continuing wherever you left it.
• Pauses you can tune. How long to think, and how long to repeat.

• Your voice is transcribed and then discarded. Audio is not stored.
• No location, no ads, no analytics SDKs.
• Delete your account and all of your data from inside the app at any time.

Is it free?

LingoDrive is free to start, with a daily allowance of speaking exchanges and podcast episodes. A Pro plan with unlimited practice is coming in an update.

What do I need?

Android 13 or later and a microphone for the speaking part. A car with Android Auto is optional: everything also works on the phone alone.
