Delete your AllPix account
You can delete your AllPix account at any time. Deleting it removes your photos, videos and thumbnails, the keys that open them, and your account.
How to delete it
- In the app: open Settings → Account → Delete my account.
- No longer have the app? Email support@kedigital.dev from the Google address you sign in with, and the account is deleted for you.
What happens
- For 7 days you can change your mind. Your photos stay readable so you can export them. You can cancel the deletion in the app until then.
- Then the keys that open your photos are destroyed first. From that moment nobody can decrypt them, AllPix included.
- Then every photo, video and thumbnail is removed from storage, every stored version of it, and then your account and its database rows.
- Database backups that still mention your account expire within 30 days.
You get an email when the deletion is scheduled, and a note in the app under Settings → Account activity.
Before you delete
Export your library first if you want to keep your photos: Settings → Export my library writes your original photos and videos, with their real file names, dates and places, to a folder you choose.
If you only want to stop paying, cancel the subscription in Google Play. You can keep using the free plan, and a plan that ends with more than the free storage stored makes your account read-only for 180 days, so you can still view, export and delete everything before anything is removed.
